CMS Made Simple releases version 1.7.1

CMS Made Simple has released versio 1.7.1 – Escade, at present all sites are running 1.7 so over the coming days all sites will be upgraded to version 1.7.1, this does fix a very minor security issue, but has a lot of new enhancements.

CMS Made Simple Release 1.7

CMS Made Simple announced a few days ago the release of CMS Made Simple 1.7 – Cape Verde, this upgrade removes all support for PHP 4 and only allows the use of PHP 5. All JMR Websolution site running CMS Made Simple will be kept on version 1.6.7 for the time being. Once we have completed our testing we will start to role out the upgrade.

First Plugin for Wordpress

JMR Websolution has created its first Plugin for Wordpress. We are currently awaiting access to the subversion repository. Once this is granted we will post a link to it.

The plugin is for WXSIM a weather forecast tool.

CMS Made Simple announced today the release of CMS Made Simple 1.6.7 – Teremba Bay, this is mainly a vulnerability patch but does have a few enhancements and new features included. All JMR Websolution site running CMS Made Simple will be updated this evening.
